Hummingbird and Oriole Fruit, Nectar and Jelly Feeders

Orioles are welcome visitors in the spring and summer months. If you live near open woodlands, river groves with tall poplars, willows or cottonwoods you may be lucky enough to have this bright bird nest near you. Orioles eat primarily insects but in summer and fall they also love fruits and berries. Orioleswill visit nectar feeders and enjoy hummingbird feeders or specially designed oriole feeders filled with nectar. They also love grape and apple jelly or orange marmalade if you put up a jelly feeder. They may also come to suet feeders and are attracted to those containing suet with oranges, berries and insects.
